My sister's divorce happened on my birthday;
my name change was finalized on 9/11, & today...on 6/6/06, my settlement came through.
Coincidence?

These events are only significant to the extent that those dates are meaningful to you. If 9/11 and 6/6/06 and your (unstated) birthday have a particular and common meaning, then yes they are significant. But, to you, not universally.
Personally, I believe that everything happens for some reason, because there is nothing in physical reality that is expempt from cause and effect. Nothing. Even if we aren't aware of the causes and effects. It's possible, indeed likely, that there are other significances to those events aside from the dates on which they occurred, if you were to examine them from different perspectives.
