In hell you are completely cut off from God -- that means outer darkness. That would be miserable enough, but The Bible also speaks of torment in a lake of fire.

It depends...no, hell is not eternal but it all depends on God...if he forgives you, you can get out earlier....
Nothing is eternal except for God....We will eventually die, and go away from this world and will eventually, maybe not exhist in any world at all...
