Why this question?! Did you maybe kill someone and you want to know if you can be saved!?
And why the question has to be answered only by Christians, you think that other religion people are not able to answer this question, just because there is no church but another house of God?!
No, it's impossible to be saved after you kill someone, because God never didn't allow a human being to kill another human being, because it's only Him who can take the soul back, after giving it to that person to live with it!

Well, if you truly repent, then you will be saved. However, the I'm-going-to-church-later argument is no reason to commit a sin. I can't say "Oh, I'll kill this guy today, and ask for forgiveness tomorrow." That would bring into doubt my actual repentance. So the answer is yes you can be saved, but it all depends on whether you truly repent or not. Cheers!

If you went to church and received the sacrament of reconciliation then the priest would probably say something such as you could only be forgiven if you owned up to the police and gave a heart felt apology. That way, justice would be done to you as you would be punished according to the crime you had commit ed. Killing someone can never be considered 'ok' however if you be live in God's will to forgive, you are truly sorry, you have owned up to your actions, apologised and been justify punished then God will forgive you.

Well to answer that question. The person has to truly want forgiveness form God. And it is not like God wont know what is in your heart, but if you ask for it and truly mean it then god will forgive you. However, that person will still have to answer for to the laws of the land and be held accountable. They would also need to ask forgiveness form the ones they hurt, in this case the family of the one they killed. Well I wish i knew the bible well enough to tell you where to look in the teachings of Christ but I myself am still learning so i remember the stories and morals of the stories just not the page and verse. So take what I have said for what it is worth.

You were saved 2000 years ago. Your spiritual status does not change with God. This is made up by the church. You cannot have law and grace at the same time, they are opposite.

But it is not OK, because you killed someone and you are going to go to jail and you are going to have to live with that for your whole time on earth! You are just killing a piece of yourself.

God is everything and everyone.

OK just put it this way if you were to commit murder i don't believe that you have to go to church just to ask forgiveness but don't get me wrong I'm not saying that you don't have to go to church but i think that in the own privacy of your home that you can ask God for forgiveness and if you are sincere with your prayer than God will forgive you. But if you do not ask for forgiveness then you will go to hell.

No the whole Christian concept of forgiveness is bullshit. When you commit a wrong, something you know is wrong and immoral in your eyes it stays with you for life, and can be forgiven by no one, not even what ever mighty force may exist. So live your life to be happy, don't follow everyones rules, do what you feel is right, be your own judge and you will maybe become happy if you truley understand the concept, regardless of whatever anyone else thinks, including "God".

both old and new testiments say a person committing a lay-in-wait murder cannot see redeption in this life. they must be dispatched to the FATHER to face his trial and the victim there. ther are other types of murder i. e.crimes of passion, and accidents.war is self-defense not murder.. these can be forgiven by GOD, but the killer should take refuge.

in the old days, there were cities set aside for just this purpose-'cities of refuge'. you never have to go to church to ask forgiveness, because they might say you've sinned, and 'give us the juicy parts first!'

bible study will go a long way to clearing up many troubling questions like this.

If you are truly repentant, God will forgive any sin... but you must do penance (and I don't think committing a sin with the intention of asking for forgiveness counts! Just my opinion!).

yes but the fact that the law my end your life for ending anothers is a key factor..the person would not have to go to church to repent, ask for forgiveness from Jesus and accept Him as their Lord and Savior.. that can happen anytime over and over again..we all fall short of Gods glory. we must ask daily.
