I'm catholic, and I don't believe that there is only one answer for everything.
Assuming you're speaking about Catholic dogma - not everything the church teaches is considered "dogma": only those items which are utterly critical to our faith (one god, jesus is his son, etc.)
when you get to the idea of (for example) salvation though good work vs. through faith, you're completely out of he realm of dogma, although it was one of the critical points in he early division of protestants vs. catholics.
Most of the overlap between Protestants and R. Catholics is not dogma.
And, there are other churches who are not protestant, but who aren't Roman Catholic either (specifially the Orthodox churches).

I don't disagree with the notion of dogma, should I?
There will never be only one interpretation of anything biblical, as long as there are so many inperfect humans trying to interpret it.

There are over 10,000 unique Christian cults in the US alone, so it would seem Christianity (and the bible) relies more on individual interpretations than it does specific, universally accepted doctrine or "dogma."

The concept of a 'Dogma' isn't in the Bible, it is a tradition of men: Matthew 15:3,7,8 states:
'In reply he said to them: "Why is it YOU also overstep the commandment of God because of YOUR tradition? YOU hypocrites, Isaiah aptly prophesied about YOU, when he said, 'This people honors me with their lips, yet their heart is far removed from me. It is in vain that they keep worshiping me, because they teach commands of men as doctrines.'
This scripture is in your Bible. Read all of Matthew chapter 15. There is only one true and correct interpretation. Allow any one of Jehovah's Witnesses to prove this to you from Your Own copy of the Bible.

Mat 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men.
Mar 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men.

There can only be one correct interpretation, but all interpretations can be incorrect.
