not that i have heard of. i always traveled with my cats crated in the car. it's a real experience going down the road at 75 mph with 4 cats in the car roaming around because you felt bad they were in their crates. thankfully i've only done that a couple times. i have known people that have taken their cats as carry on though, but never as live cargo.
okay, my friend says northwest is good, they have temperature controlled holds for live animals, and she says they treat them very well. i hope that helps, if they serve where you are.

I do fly rabbits as cargo sometimes. Depending on where you're going will depend on the airline. I've heard good things about Alaska Air and Frontier. I've only ever used Delta and despite some drama at the ticket counter, my bunnies were handled well and went there and back in great shape.

Be sure you are VERY clear on the requirements the airline has. Many will not fly animals in the summer due to heat concerns.

I recommend continental they do have an excellent pet service. You are able (if not traveling with) to track the pets at every point and call and check on them. They set the standard for all other airlines.

i know that some treat crated animals better than others...call around and find one that is not just gonna stick your pets with cargo where the noise might deafen them or the heat might make them dehydrated.....good luck!

I probably would not do that because some airlines just throw them and many died but its your decision so do what ever you want to do
