Doesn't matter the average of farts from 1 person is 15-17 farts a day.

As u know, farting is a very natural and normal thing for all humans and animals alike. Its the emission of gas from our internal body. When it gets emitted from the top its called burp..and when from the bottom its fart!
Young or old...does not make the frequency different. It depends entirely on the type of food you take and your health. I know of both young and old farting as much.

I don't think age has anything to do with it. I think it does, however, have something to do with their bodies. It depends on how much gas or air pressure has been built up, causing either the air to come out as a burp or a fart. I can remember my Grandfather Always expelling gas, but whether that had anything to do with age, I'm not sure.

no young people fart more, its part of growing up and your body maturing, old people aren't growing anymore, however they tend to smell more than younger people because their bodies stop producing pherenomes - the natural smell that makes people horny

Old people fart more because their muscles atrophy as they age and they can't prevent it.

Probably because they are prone to have more stomach problems. They usually have gas to build up more.
