There are dozens of magazines that are solely dedicated to hairstyles. find something that will flatter your face then go wild with it. Your hair is an accessory and a fashion statement. You can check out sites on-line that give ideas to hair dos too. Even going to a regular hair salon should have hair magazines/books that show certain styles and you can customize it on your own from there.

Just one more thing - if you go black, or jet black, it'll be a PAIN to remove. And I'm talking from experience.

Goth is not always all black. Blonde goth look is a great one. Run Lace (white) through your hair. Wear white lacy dresses. Tease the hair to make it look like you just woke up from a thousand year sleep in the coffin. I've seen that look, and it is so drop dead, it is great.Don't die your hair black. That's too "everyone does that" look.I was goth for 27 years. Velvet Goth. With lace. Green and purple clothes.. Lots of lace. looked so dead. Was great.Am a red-head. Made my hair even more red and powdered it. Go with your own Goth look. Don't try to be like the majority og Goth. All black is soboring. Everyone is used to it.Red powder around eyes, and a touch of green around the gills for that warmth-dead look. Black lipstick. LOL-t

Bettie Page your bangs. Braid random parts of it. Shave some off. Streak it. Dye it. Fry it. Wear it down to there, long, beautiful hair, powdered, floured, and confetti'd, mangled, tangled, spangled, and spaghetti. Find a goth you adore and do your hair like her. Find a goth you lurve and do your hair like him. Curl it into pipe curls and wear a top hat. Go loligoth with high pink pigtails. Go fascist punk with an unmoving fauxhawk and a stern look. Go elven and braid it behind yer ears. Go Siouxsie with three cans of aquanet and two busy backwards brushes. the possibilities are endless, baby!

Honey, blond and goth? How does that work? LOL!!

You could always dye it black. However, I get the feeling you're not interested in that.

What about getting some black headbands and just using them? Or you could do the pony look with black hairpieces. Or you could cut really long bangs to cover your eyes and just wear everything straight.
