So, does that make god and jesus man-made too?

Humans invent "Gods" (and religion) to explain the unknown.

Religion will always rely on faith because its primary purpose is to explain what science cannot. The more we learn, the less we rely on religion.

"God did it" is far more acceptable to most humans (frightened little animals) than "I don't know."

Religion is man made. Man wrote the holy text that religions teach and man has changed that text time and time again. Man used religion to manipulate people to their will not God's.

Absolutely, religion is man made. Religion was created by man to establish our rules and values around Godly truths. Basically, religion tries to take parts of God and put Him in a box.

We don't need religion. We need relationship with God. That's what it's truly all about.

It's man-made because god doesn't exist.

Religion, in and of itself is man-made.

But the God of the Bible is a true and living God who is also a personal God who seeks your fellowship. This rises above religion.

God never tells us to put our trust in religion. In most cases it is quite the contrary.
We are to put our faith in Jesus Christ and His Word.
