it depends on what your looking for. The more the detail, the more it costs. It also depends on who makes it. I would stick with just buying one...sooooo much cheaper.

As a fashion designer and seamstress with close to 30 years of adventure the following is my suggestion: even with the undeniable fact that if you're a executed seamstress then comprehend it really is a time ingesting business enterprise to make your own dress. if you're not to any extent further: comprehend that bridal fabrics are not to any extent further forgiving of our mistakes. in case you've been thrilled with the outcome of your prom dress then try to be advantageous to undertake your dress. the variety of fabrics you should use should be determined by ability of the silhouette and attraction you need to opt for. Fill me in on the layout/sort & i am going to extra recommend. you're fantastic that the fee of the elements is the same because the fee of procuring a sparkling dress. maximum individuals do no longer comprehend how a lot it ought to fee to make a dress. If time isn't a valuable commoditiy for then you bypass for it! appreciate and treasure it.

Not only is buying one cheaper but you know what you are getting. If you get one made the seamstress may not have the same picture in mind of the finished product as you do. If you show them a picture of a dress, they can try to get it similiar, but may not be able to. I think it's a safer bet to buy a dress.

$500 to $500,000...you really need to break it down, find what you like and see what it costs then add 10 to 30% to have something similar custom made
