What a wonderful idea!!!
Would it not be simpler just to not support the organizations that tend to disrespect the American culture and to pull the license away from the broadcast stations that use SOCIAL TERRORISM while acting like mind dead dummies running around mimicking the left liberal media in hopes that if they repeat it often enough they can effect the types of changes that will rival Red China or even the once power full USSR.
So Yes Down with Bush Bashing.
Yes Down with America Bashing.
Yes Down with people that would say not to respect our President our Culture and our way of Life.

Sure..... they can call it "The Bush League".... and maybe they'll hit a home run.
Children should be given Civics classes. The problem with our whiny, self-indulgent society is that no one realizes the responsibilities of democracy that go hand in hand with their rights.
Civics classes have fallen out of style, but they are badly needed for people to understand what the United States is all about, what it stands for, and what it should not stand for (double entendre intentional).
Too many people have a very warped view of how ultra important their "rights" are, completely oblivious to the fact that a society cannot function if everyone makes a huge fuss out of every silly, inconsequential thing that doesn't suit their particular preferences (hear that, ACLU??).
When everyone can be deprived of seeing a beautiful, traditional Nativity scene because of one ignorant complainer, society loses. These people confuse freedom of religion with freedom FROM religion (exposure to religious symbols, which could only offend the most self-indulgent, self-important whiners).
So, civics classes can teach people to be more responsible and less selfish. It can bring interest to their history class, so they will understand the meaning behind the events they are memorizing for the test.

No.
That smacks of 1930's Germany, with little brown-shirted youths running around shouting "sieg heil".
As for civic responsibility, the schools should have courses to teach kids what their obligations are in our society.
At the very least, kids should be taught the meaning behind John F. Kennedy's' speech, when he said:
"Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country."
The world doesn't owe us a living...and yet, way to many kids feel entitled to everything.
Obviously, many parents are failing to instill civic values in their kids.

didn't hitler try that.....
shouldn't that be left up to the parents of those children and to those children
i dont think it would be a good idea to teach young kids how to lie
and say that God told him to kill thousands of people in a fit of revenge( oops i meant justice...)
I think academics should be taught in schools, morals should be taught at home and the rest of life should be learned in the school of hard knocks, lets not taking the living out of life.

There needs to be something to teach our young to honor and respect your nation. Since it is certainly not happening in public schools or by the liberals
