im shy and i need to just GET LOUDER but i dont know where to start? i think it has something to do with the fact that not many people talk to me hen im so quiet, exept my friends, so how do i start being loud so this guy notices me more?

i have almost exactly the same problem. what i'm trying to do is to be more talkative and loud around my friends so that i get comfortable with it, then i hope i'll be more talkative in general, even with people who arent my really good friends.

You may be one of those people who would be better off in the 19th century when we did not have so much value placed on being so loud all the time. The only loud people then were politicians and other public speakers who had to speak loudly because there were no microphones. Your silence is golden. Don't try to be louder. Let people notice you. Eventually they will value you over the yapping masses of people around you.

I don't think you really need to be loud to get noticed. I think it is important to make eye contact with the guy and let them know you are interested in them and what they are saying. If you are a distance a way slowly move your head up and smile at him and then walk away. You don't need to change who you are, because I think alot of guys are looking for a girl that is not talking 24/7. It's always important to ask the other person questions about themselves and find a common interest you can talk about. Don't be afraid of talking and worrying about saying the wrong thing either... just look as if you are comfortable with who you are, keep your head up (like a duck... he looks graceful on top but underneath his feet are going really fast). You must appear graceful even if your sweating underneath. Basically, be comfortable with who you are, find some common interests you can talk about, and make eye contact. Also... ALWAYS be positive in anything you say to a guy (this also makes you appear confident).

start talking to other people. not just ur friends. maybe he'll notice u then or you could try talking to him. he might like that .
