Has there been a change with that? If it gets too hot it can give you quite a belly ache. Or so it used to be.

i've never had any problems. I think snopes has a section on that.

then search for teflon. it should come back with info about any urban legends on teflon.
they always list their sources, so i consider it a very useful, accurate source

Jeez, I never heard that at all. I use it all the time and never have any problems.... I just wonder what's making Teflon STICK to the PAN!

the only thing i know that's bad about teflon is if you accidently burn it and you have pet birds. if things aren't aired out in the house right away, they normally die because it creates a toxin for them.

you also might have heard about the plants where they make teflon in WV. there was something about it causing cancer in the news in several towns in WV and OH
