Tell your mom how you feel. It is quite normal to have these feeling now and it is time to have your modesty respected. She can talk to your father if you are not comfortable telling him yourself.

And, parshooter, that was a very insensitive and inappropriate response!

I have medical problems that require me to get periodic ekg's, I know it is very annoying but they often have male nurses do this procedure. Actually in my experience, some of the most aggravating nurses have been females, who are rude, impatient, or treat me like an object. However, if it makes you so uncomfortable, tell your dad before hand that you would like some privacy, during the procedure. When you get to the hospital you can request a female nurse. Some nurses will even let you apply the electrodes or "stickie's" yourself. You are most definitely not a prude, modesty is a virtue!
I suggest you stay far away from anyone who tells you otherwise.

Tell your dad what you just said here. I'm sure he'll understand. Dad's don't like to admit that their little girls are growing up so sometimes you just have to spell it out for them.

Good luck!

Talk to you're mom about it and tell her that you feel weird now that you're older. Maybe that way your mom will talk to your dad about it , or at least back you up when you talk to your dad.

It time to grow up and not be such a prude. Do you think you look any different then anyone else? Who taught you to be ashamed of your body?

Just tell him. You probably got most of your beliefs from your parents so he should understand.
