I've seen a list before that shows which programs start up as a computer starts up, you can then use this list to forbid certain programs from starting with your computer. Could someone be kind enough to let me know how to access this list? I'm not very computer saavy, and any help would be appreciated.

Click on start then run. In the run box type msconfig. click on the startup tab and there you have a list of the programs that startup. Uncheck any you dont think you need and reboot.
