No you do not learn anything true about him from the movie.
Ie it is a fictional movie, like what do you learn about NASA from watching star wars.
There was no code, no secret society, it is all merely fiction.

I assume you are talking about 'The DaVinci Code". Leonardo Da Vinci was a famous artist. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I just finished the book, I did learn some things about him that I never knew. I didn't know that he hid the truth of the church in his paintings.

It is a well accepted fact that Leonardo was a genius. His abilities and thinking was well ahead of his time. The movie merely pays homage to the great man. It is not intended to be biographical. I am afraid that if you want to know more about him, you will have to do it the old fashioned way and read several books on him.

You're so ignorant. da Vinci was the most brilliant man that ever existed: artists, sculptor, writer, inventor, scientist.

my advice is read a real book about him. a lot of that movie and book was conjecture.
even better, go visit his house and talk to the historians there who've dedicated their lives to his art and science.
in france, btw. its a great place.
