And I mean more often than not!!! I don't feel motivated at all to do anything produtive!! All I wanna do is hang out with friends or download episodes of 24 !! And the irony is that I used to be really busy all the time with university and part-time jobs and sports, etc. then I finished university and got a job where I had to work 12 hours a day, untill I had enough and quit!! That was 4 months ago.. and not only I haven't found another job but I'm hardley even looking!!! I haven't been productive at all for months, and It's not like I have any money cause I don't!! but still it doesn't seem to motivate me...
Do you think I need help?!!! Maybe I'm depressed or something?!!! LOL thanks :)

You probably haven't found a job that interests you enough to stay with it. You have to look further than the present and consider your future. You are young, and times are easy now because I figure you are unattached and have no responsibilities like kids and think 'why stress over it?' Perhaps you are dependant on your parents still and are comforted with that thought. i dont know. if you dont support yourself and become prodcutive again, then who will for you? If you feel you need a bit of help, get it because hanging out with friends and downloading episodes wont do anything for you. Find other interests and you might get the urge to become productive again or hang around with other people who might be more productive than the ones you are with now.

I'm having a lazy day today because I was extremely busy all weekend long. There is nothing wrong with have a few days or even a week of shut down after separating from a job but it sounds like this has been ongoing for some time now and perhaps it's time for you to see your Dr. They can diagnos if there is a problem or elleviate your concerns if there isn't one.

Maybe you are depressed. Maybe you need a BIG life change. I don't know where you live, but maybe your environment is bringing you down. Travel a little - if you can't afford it then just drive to another city close by, get their local paper, etc. Broaden your horizons. My grandma used to say - don't let the grass grow under your feet and life is too short to drink bad wine.

Good luck and feel better about yourself!

You maybe depressed. No job is no self esteem and no money to look foward to. Try to force yourself to get motivated (its hard but if you can its best) If not some antidepessants could just give you the kick start you need

I don't want to do anything either. That's why I'm on the computer all the time. I feel like I'm totally lazy. My husband cleans for me cuz I don't even want to do that. I do have MS though. I am very weak. If you don't have a medical condition you should thank God for your health and get off your a__.

You need to do something that makes you feel good, and something to look forward to! Children are amazing creatures, if you do not have any, volunteer to be a big sister/brother...this will help! Having a job you love will help....get involved in SOMETHING that makes you happy!

You have to explain more about why you are unhappy or lazy. It could be your diet, or meds your on!! You need to try to pinpoint the problem!! Excersize makes me happy!

It sounds like depression or just plain and simple burn out. You were going to fast and now your mind is telling you to slow down. Ease back into things. There's nothing wrong as long as your not living off the system (like welfare). If that's the case then you're just being lazy.

I'd recommend you to read the book 'Feeling Good' -David D. Burns, M.D.. On part II you will find a whole chapter about what is going on with you. It is called 'Do-Nothingism: How to beat it. The book costs 7.99 dollars and it changed my life!!
Hope that helps!
