Because it's based on a fictitious story. How do I see its reality by practicing the truth? I didn't know someone could practice the truth.

People have the right to believe what they will. Your faith, like everyone else's, is only an opinion. Were you there personally when the tales in the Koran were written? No. You weren't. Therefore, you don't know any better than anyone else whether or not your precious doctrine, and the supposed "reality" behind it, is make believe, fiction, much in the way of The Three Little Pigs or something. Know what? Just wait until you die - only then will the truth be known. Until that point, believe what you will, let others do the same, and know that, ultimately, the point of life is to be a good and upstanding person, not a prejudiced, brainless, doctrine-thumping twit that can only think as far as someone will allow him to.

I'm not a Muslim nor Christian but I do appreciate its liturgy as written. The Holy Koran does not invalidate the TANAK or the New Testament, in fact Jesus is mentioned more than anyone else. The account of creation is closer to human histology than any other spiritual text.
With that being said Islam and Judaism until very recently in human history had always lived in relative peace. Case in point the Golden Age and the Crusades. During the Inquisition and Crusades it was Christian aggression with scorched earth tactics that murdered innocent Jew and Muslim peoples.
Muslim aggression toward Jews and other non-Islamic people can be laid at the door step of Western interference and Imperialism dating to the end of the Ottoman Empire. When laying blame check the history of the region not pop culture crap. Fox News is not going to tell you the whole truth. Read balanced material and historical accounts.
Ask a Jew :).

Islam is the religion of Satan!!! It gives virtually no rights to women, its is sick and vial!!! Islamic martyardom is a joke just like the FAKE prophet Muhammed!!! Muslims can't even take humor against their fake GOD allah, just look what happened around the world over some cartoons. Please all Muslims who read this, Satan(allah) is evil and the longer you follow evil, the further from heaven you become....Think of this for a second? Why is it most middle east countries have nothing but rock and sand to grow food? There used to be an overabundance of fertile soil around the time of Christ. You do have oil, but that is a shrinking commodity throughout the region, and what will you do when its gone??? Probably start a war and take over a country, claiming you were there first!!! All Muslims will burn in hell unless they find the lord Jesus Christ!!! God is both loving and vengeful, and if you don't seek him out you are destined for hell!!!!! Have a nice day.

I could not and would not accept any religion that demands total mindless acceptance and practice of a violent and repressive dogma.
On the other hand, that being said, Islam is the only religion of the 'Big 3' that can show a real, living person as the founder of that religion. By comparison, neither the Jewish or Christian religions can point to the grave of their respecive founder. They are merely based on a belief in their Bible and offer circumstantial 'proof' that requires a lot of 'Faith' on the part of the believer.

While Islam may be the answer for some it is not the answer for all. Truth is different for each person. Do you believe every word in the Quran? I am sure there are some that you question. Allow people to live and believe as they choose just as you also would like to be treated. Any path that leads to God is a good one.

My two cents: Islam rejects Jesus and His claims. Islam is also full of errors. Have you ever read the Quran? The Islamic belief system & Mohammed are wrong (not to be confused with Muslims...I have many dear friends who are Muslim).
There is a good book that you have to read, it is short. Josh McDowell's book, "More Than a Carpenter." It looks at the claims of Jesus. Check it out for yourself and see what the deal is with Jesus.
Also, yes I actually read the Quran & talk with Muslims who are very devout. Sometime pick up a Bible & read John. You will be suprised.
This could be a huge discussion.

What truth is there in Islam? The only true teaching may have come from the Koran but literture after that corrupted the Koran. And Revelation 22:18-19 (NIV, Holy Bible) says:"I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anthing to them, God will add them to the plagues decribed in this book."

Because islam is not the truth. You have missed a very important step to the truth. And that is accepting Jesus Christ as your savior. You will never find favor with God, unless you do this.

If you were born into a Christian family chances are you'd be trying to convert me to that "truth". Some of us don't believe either is the truth.... was the crusade against the moors for the truth? How about 9/11?
I believe God would want us to be respectful to life... that's what I belive to be true.
