2. electrolysis (semi-permanent)
3. laser (semi-permanent)
4. good ol' razor

Wax is the best choice. That would keep unwanted hair from growing for a longer time than shaving.

Nads puts out a product I've used before that has a small tube of wax and a wand that you appy to your upperlip, eyebrow line, etc. It works pretty well and is made with natural ingredients.

You can pluck--but give yourself some time before you go out so your face isn't red anymore. You could buy one of those little tiny trimmers. Or you could get it waxed off--but that's gonna hurt. Drugstores have bleaching kits that you could use to make it lighter and less noticeable.
