Dreams are an extension of the conscious mind so whatever thoughts and cognizance are occurring in the mind travel into the dream. So to say that the blind do not dream would be to say that the blind do not think or have consciousness, which is ridiculous. I'm sure that a sighted person's dreams would be just as foreign to a blind person, as a blind person's dreams to a sighted person. And while we are discussing this, what about dog dreams or cat dreams? They have dreams too, but not of the same subject matter as a human, whether sighted or blind! Do paraplegics dream of walking? The mind is an immense and wonderful tool and dreams are creations of the soul.

Blind people can dream because dreams are a pigment of thought produced by the brain which doesn't need any aid from the eyes.

Yes, everyone dreams, but blind people's dreams are different from our own. They see different objects than we do because we have the memory of what things look like while they don't.

being blind doesnt alter your mind and its sleeping patterns. they may not dream in vivid detail oriented things or colors but their minds work just as well as a sighted person, probably an even better imagination

Maybe if i didnt fall asleep during health class all of the time i could tell you. But i think they do 'cause you cant see while you are sleeping.

yes they can,mostly from imagination probably,but if people ever discribed what something looks like to them or if they read brale they could then also sleep dream about that as well.
