I was told my ex-boyfriends mother, that if anything happens to her son, she will blame me. Me and her son are no longer together, he is okay with it? Why does she feel that way?

She feels that way because that is her son, and if anything happens to him she will instinctively blame herself, and she needs to blame you to make herself feel better about her obvious shortcomings and insecurities.

Don't worry about it... Mothers have atendency to think their son's are angels. No matter what they get themselves into.
She was just looking for someone to shift the blame to... because inside she KNOWS that her son is a bit of a screw-up..

Sounds like the mother has issues, I wouldn't take it personally. The mother seems like she is not playing with a full deck .

She has issues, just don't let her bother you. go on with your life, he no longer is a part of your life and therefore neither is she.
