The reverse is so common but for a women, still in her 20's is it odd for her to be dating a man 5 years younger then her (in his 20's as well)?

Well...I suppose it's relative to how mature he is.
Women mature faster than men so I'm not sure it's wise to date a younger man.
If you were 40's I would say there's not a huge gap, but early 20's people are still figuring out life and who they are.
I don't think there's anything 'wrong' with it as long as he's legal. I just don't think it's wise...(I make these remarks based on the facts as I'm given them).
If you must, date him years and years before you ever marry.

i am 25 and my boyfriend is 20 so no i don't think it's wierd at all...it's all in the mentality. you go girl. those younger guys can keep up pretty well huh? not that an older man can't, i just found that in my own experiences dating older guys just means i get hurt.

no, anyone who says otherwise is ridiculous, unless you're talking about a situation where someone's below the age of consent.
my husband's five years younger than me.

Agree with all of the above. Nothing wrong as long as not a minor. I also agree with toyman in that love knows no age. Just be happy and make him happy as well. Enjoy!

It is not a problem at all. I am in the same situation as you, and things couldn't be better. You have to have fun and enjoy life.

I'd say it's not a big deal if the guy is in his 20s, which is not underage.

my cousin is 9 years younger than her husband and they have a wonderful relationship... i don't really see a problem
