The answer from Lady goes in the good direction. Be a leader by stating your opinion and thoughts. Do not want to belong to a group all the time. Take time for yourself to become what you really would like to become (euh... do not get it myself)
The first question should be why do i want to be popular????
There is no reason for wanting that except that you doi not feel good in your actual 'role'.
Can't brepeat it enough. Do not waste time by being someone you are not. Even if you are young... the rule is the same to all of us: 'the clock is ....' enjoy every second and never regret what you have done . Only regret what you wanted to do but didn't do.

If your not popular as you are, then you'll have to get over it.
It's not worth being false and pretending to be something that you are not. True friendship is far better that being the "It girl". being the centre of attention means that you would have to be perfect ALL the time, that's not always a good thing.
Groups come & go, but true friends will always be with you & stand by you no matter what.

look stop doing this to yourself... most people who propose to be popular... in there terms, are shallow... if they are in trouble with the law etc... do you call this popular... i call it losers, stupid, won't be popular if you or anyone else non family orintated see em first thing in the morning without makeup, or having not had a shower...
popular is... being clever enough to steer yourself to newer horizons... meet different people... go out and be confident in the fact that where ever you wonder, city, town country, village or ranch... someone will always welcome you into thier group... into thier arms, into thier family... go out and branch..it's not you it's people... they can be so dim witted sometimes... if they don't like you... they ain't worth it... you know i'm right!

don't ***** about people behind their backs. Try to concentrate more on your studies. I sound like an old fart but when you leave school you very rarely keep in touch with these people.Getting a good job nice car and nice house are more important.

umm...best way..personally...walk around BY YOURSELF... and walk alot around . this will get people to look at YOU, not your friends, and they will see you more often. also go for sports at least 2. and during class walk around the halls looking inside classrooms, ppl get distracted and look at the person looking inside. by the end of the year ppl will know you.

be a leader not a follower speak your mind and don't care what others have to say about you their just jealous because they aren't you.
