Jesus was certainly NOT the anti-Buddha. It's not too hard to see the similarity between the Sermon on the Mount and the teachings of the Buddhas. "Do unto others and turn the other cheek" sound very Buddhist to me.

There are some that say Jesus was a Buddha. Others think he may have traveled to India during the missing years of the Bible. A lot of Jesus's teachings were edited by the Roman Church to make them appeal to Pegans and help the emperor control the population.

If there is a an Anti-Buddha it is Mohammad. Islamic raiders conquered the peaceful Buddhists of India and destroyed the temples.

Unseen Matter means Mara I think, not Rama.

Mara is sort of like the Satan (adversary) in the Buddhist tradition. He did present all sorts of temptations to the Buddha so that he would not reach enlightenment, such as the offer of power, wealth, and beautiful women. Of course, the Buddha was able to reject all those temptations.

Rama, I would guess. He was the one trying to block Siddartha from his initial enlightenment, much like Satan testing Jesus in the desert. Whoops, seems I mixed up Buddhism and Hinduism there. Yes, it is Mara.
