The Neo-Pagan religions are, by far, the fastest growing religion in the US by a long shot. According to American Religious Identification Survey Neo-Paganism is the 7th largest organized religion and the 10th largest religious grouping in the US. These polls also show that 94% of Wiccans are registered to vote, far above the national average. While it will be some time before it comes close to Christianity but that day is coming. Do I think they will take it well? No, I doubt it. As it is there are a chunk of them out there now that think there is a 'war on Christianity" now and you see how well they are taking it. It will get worse is what I think.

Yes, they are afraid for the simple reason that most people are afraid of change. Currently they have the authority and no one ever wants to give that up. Will they adapt? Not a chance. Religion does not open itself well to adaptation. The Mesopotamians rose and fell and the Syrians rose in their place. After the Syrians fell the Egyptians came. After them came the Jews then Christians then the Muslims. Religion is inherrantly doomed to failure for the simple fact that they cannot change with the times and if they do change at all the either become something entirely different than what they originally were or they do not change quickly enough and still fall as something new arises in their place.

Christians have no reason to be afraid of anything. If their lives are right and they have the right relationship with God, then they know that this world is not their home and they are here for a little while. As far as adjusting to the world's standards, NO Christian will adjust. God does not like luke-warm.

Only paranoid Christians are afraid because it's impossible for them to lose the majority. Purely impossible. Besides, the great great majority of illegal immigrants are Catholic because of where they are from.

Yes. They have power in their majority. They don't want to lose it, of course not. That's why they don't want their folks using condoms.
