For a woman's right to choose, though I wouldn't prefer it and I'm definately against it after the first half of the pregnancy. When its a clump of cells it doesn't bother me. Once it starts to actually become a baby then I'm not comfortable with it. Once it has even the slightest chance of survival (about 22 weeks or so) then I'm DEFINATELY not ok with it.

I am Pro-Choice. When it is nothing but a mass of cells sometimes it is the best option. I don't believe in abortion being a means of birth control, but then again, i highly doubt that the majority of decent people would ever consider abortion as a means of birth control. I do not understand the people that scream Pro-Life from the roof tops. They don't kill anything? Ants and spiders are God's living creatures too. I can't stand hypocrites. While i don't believe that abortion is the best possible method, it should be an available option. Same goes for stem cell research, no one ever said that life was pretty and sometimes there are options that need to be considered.

First of all, no one has the right to tell any woman what she can and cannot do with her own body, if she is not inflicting harm on herself.
Second of all, if parents are allowed to tell doctors whether or not to operate on their newborn babies for whatever reason, why are parents not allowed to tell doctors that they do not want the baby that has not been born yet, or even developed a heartbeat or organs? The parasitic being inside of your body that you do not want? In the early stages of pregnancy, I can't fathom how anyone could consider it murder. Next thing you know they're going to say that getting a vasectomy (sp?) is accidental man slaughter, or that masturbation is reckless child abandonment. Gah. Get over it.
My stance on abortion is it's none of my business what a woman does with her body, nor is it anyone else's. Let them make their own choices, and you can make your own choice if you become pregnant. And if you're a (straight) man, you just keep out of it.
This is one subject that makes me glad to be gay. I'll never have to worry about a pregnant woman and the whole touchy adoption/abortion/parenting question.

I don't agree with abortion. But I think every women has the right to decide if she wants an abortion or not. I don't agree with it, coz it's stopping a potential life from becoming a person and being born and living life. But there maybe situation like where abortion has to be done like if it is life threatening to the Mum to continue the pregnancy or the that the baby is so ill its gonna have no quality of life and suffer for the rest of its life. I think women should consider alternatives like adoption before going through with an abortion. But I think every woman should have the right to choose if they want one or not. I'm pro choice.

Pro-choice.
This is a decision that only a woman can make. Who am I to tell someone what they can or can't do? There are many instances - rape, incest, birth defects and deformity, danger to the woman - where an abortion would be the safest option.
I don't believe woman use abortion as 'birth control' but I believe some people/organisations use abortion as mind control. It really is a woman's right to choose - not the church's.

Personally I would never do it, but I also think a woman should have her right to choose if you can live with a decision like that for the rest of your life then so be it though there should be limitations put on abortion if it's going to be legal considering some people use it as birth control, who knows maybe they do already and I'm unaware of it.

I am against it. I know of people who use abortion as a form of birth control, instead of using condoms or going on the pill. I believe that there may be extreme circumstances where an abortion is necessary (like the life of the mother is in danger), but overall I am against it.

Well, considering how many people can't get pregnant and are waiting for years to adopt, I don't really get the controversy. Why can't these woman just give the babies up for adoption, why is it "easier" for them to kill them? The baby didn't get them pregnant, and except for cases of rape, its their own fault. Abortion is being used as birth control, HELLO, IT'S NOT! If you let yourself get pregnant because you're just too darn busy to take that pill or use that condom, why should be baby suffer because of it. You caused the problem, deal with it. If you can't raise a child, fine, there are many people out there waiting in line to adopt that child. So, I think I'm pretty much against it.

Against it! 100%! Because if you think you are resposible enough to have sex then you just be responsible enough to deal with the conseqeuences. I mean even if you do use some sort of protection the doctor or the box (whichever the case may be) will tell you it's not 100% effective. So why have sex unless you are open to the possiblity of children? Just because you want to? Seems like a pretty stupid answer to kill an unborn child, "Well, sorry unborn baby, but I really don't want you, I really just wanted to get laid."

I am against it unless the baby would endanger the life of the mother. I am against it because I consider the unborn baby a baby nonetheless, and I believe in non-violence and that we should respect all life, which is sacred. Abortion is especially bad if it occurs at a time during the pregnancy when the baby can feel pain and suffering.

I used to be against it until a woman told me about aborting herself with a knitting needle and almost dying. Now I think it should be left up to the woman, knowing that it has serious moral implications.
However I am against late term abortions. If you've made it that far just have the baby and put it up for adoption.
