We are all children of God, what makes Jesus different from the rest of us is that it was an immaculate conception. Meaning instead of sperm Mary's egg would have been fertilized directly by God, where as when we are created we have two biological parts, where as Jesus had half od Mary and half God. That is the most simple way I could explain it in layman's terms, I hope that helped.

I'm sorry that you have been lied to. In effect ONLY are humanity God's children. LEGALLY, the title went to Satan when Adam and Eve defied God in the garden of Eden.

JESUS was sent to buy back the pink slip (FIGURATIVELY SPEAKING HERE).

Those who accept the gift of life through Jesus Christ become Sons and Daughters of God. This business of "we're all God's children" came from Hallmark Card poetic thinking , well meaning folks I guess - but way wrong info.

God truly must care a great deal to bother with providing rebellious mankind with a means of amnesty from the penalty of sin - (sin gets us death and eternity in a lake of fire).
