it matters where you live and how long you are going to baby sit here in california its 2 dollars and hour per child unless its for like the weekend which is a fixed rate that the parents chose

It also matters if you are babysitting at your home or their home because you are supposed to charge for food they eat while at your home so if its at your home its supposed to be 4 dollars an hour per child

and again thats here in California

I charge no less than $7-$8/per hour... usually closer to $10 (but thats for 4 kids) Some people get offended, but what is the point of $20 for 5 hours ???? I guess it depends on your age and how much money the people whos kids your watching has...

I try to sit for the rich people :)

I dont even know where manitoba is! I would say charge at least $10 an hour, ranging from $10-12 or so. Toddlers are a handful, so you need to make sure its worth your while!

Well, it depends on a few things. I babysit two older children in their own home and get paid $25 a day. But once again they are older children. I have two of my own that are younger (3 & 4). I think I would pay around the same maybe a little more especially if its in their own home.

I babysit in NY and I get paid anywhere from $7.50-$12.00 per hour depending on how many kids and if it is daytime when they will be active or night time and the parents are going out and the kids will be in bed.

I pay $100.00 a week for my little 3 yr old. I take her snacks and she is potty-trained. I think it's a little high but that's what most ppl charge around here.
