If you do decide to meet, make sure that you're in a public place with a lot of people around, like a popular mall on a Saturday. Don't get into a car with him or go anywhere private (either of your houses, or a secluded place like a beach). Arrange to call a friend at a certain time so that you know someone will know if anything happens.
No matter how well you think you know this guy, he could end up being dangerous, and you need to be safe. Good luck!

If you are going to meet at all, meet at a public place and et someone know that you are going to be there. Just to be on the safe side. You wouldn't want anything bad to happen.

Public place for sure - do this first - tell him to get a web cam and that way you can see him first before you meet. I know a lot of liers out there. If he is honest he will get one - then he can return it without any cost.
