It depends if its walls or accessories and if you like bright or subdued colors both of which make different statements.

In the bright range, I think orange can be very nice and makes a bright contrast with olive. Red is also nice and very dramatic.

Pink is also nice but very quiet, as is cream, and would create a soft relaxing effect.

Plus of course, you can mix and match colors particularly if you get something with a little olive vein through them.

a soft gold, not too yellow. Do you have a Lowes near you? Eddie Bauer has a nice golden yellow called "Bungalow". Home Depot carries Ralph Lauren with an equally nice color selection. If you go with a gold tone you can add splashes of Red in your knick knacks or flowers. It will make the room pop.

It really depends on the color carpet in your house. If you have a light colored carpet with the olive funiture I would go with a burgandy colored cutain and an off white throw pillow, but if you have a dark colored carpet say dark brown I would go with off white curtains and a light yellow throw pillow or maybe a rose color.

It totally depends on the look you are trying to create and the style of furniture you have. For a more modern look, you can go totally bold with reds or oranges. For a more tropical look, you can use island blues. Olive is actually a very neutral color and can work with nearly any style/look you are trying to create.

good color for what? If it's a wooden table or something, I'd go with a lighter-colored wood. I'm not sure what you're trying to coordinate. It depends. Definitely lighter colors, otherwise the room will feel dark and small.
