first off, i would not sugest you buy a mazda, honda, or gm cars. those cars are only good if your constantly and regularly keeping your car in good condition. i sugest a toyota corrola or hyundai elantra. both are low maintance cars, gas savers, and will get you where you need to go.

i'd could say which you will could renounce some issues on that checklist and compromise you could desire to purchase a motor vehicle this is below 30K has much less costly upkeep and is from korea besides the undeniable fact that it wont be the main suitable qualitycontinual and it might crumple after some bumps. or you should purchase an Audi or BMW spend better than 30K have a motor vehicle this is a high quality driving force wont crumple after some bumps yet pay extra for areas and upkeep. i think of an all around stable compromise between the two would be a VW passat wagon. the Toyota prius is first rate yet areas are no longer unavoidably much less costly tremendously in case you shop the motor vehicle long adequate to wish a clean battery and somewhat no longer interior the precise contenders on your qualitycontinual.

Hyundai Accent GT. The only thing it doesn't come with standard is the remote locking system, but that is easy to fix. The styling is better than other "economy" cars, and you can't beat the warranty.
Yes, Hyundai did have a bad reputation years ago, but they have come a long way since then. I have two of them, and I am planning on being a loyal Hyundai owner for the rest of my life.

I would have to say the Mazda 3. I just test drove one not to long ago and it had all the safety features along with one of the best rides I've had. I currently own a Nissan Sentra and though it drives really smoothly, the Mazda beat it outright. The price is usually reasonable as well, approx $15000. That is, if you're looking for a new car.

If economy and comfort is what your looking for, maybe a Hyundai or Kia. However those cars are not very reliable, they have a history dating back to the mid to late 80's, of poor quality parts. If I were you I would look into a new toyota, honda, or nissan. they all make highly dependable autos that get great fuel economy and are ergonomic. check em out.

Without a doubt: Toyota ECHO. I highly recommend it! (I own one since 2000 and it runs beautifully, very economic, extremely reliable and really comfortable)

Don't worry so much about manual, but all midsize Hondas and Toyotas are good.
