Well therez nothing wrong with that. Than that means that he really cares for you! But I guess your still young, and you dont understand what he was trying to tell you. He wasnt trying to controll you. But when you get a little older than you will know what hem meant.
Would you mind if your bf was going to clubs and bars, and when you told him to stop going, he broke up with you. How would you feel? You werent controlling him, you just didnt like it. Than he shouldve understood you. Same thing.

Absolutely. The fact that you go to bars and clubs makes you only good for occassional sex and one night stands. There is no way in hell he should have ever considered you for a relationship of any type. How dare he ask you to change.

the guy i loved told me i needed to be more outgoing and relaxed, which i admit i could do, but it wasn't like i was a hermit or anything! but we also had other issues and he always seemed to be the one calling the shots on whether we should continue our relationship or not. i never asked him to change anything about himself, because loving someone is about accepting the person as they are and bringing out the good qualities in both of you... take care and be yourself!

It merely depends on the situation. If you want a relationship with him and he doesn't go to bars. But, you go and flirt with other men. Then their is a problem. But, if he is being controlling. Then you need to drop him. You need to figure out what is more important to you and what you want. Then go for it.

i think people should be respected for whom they are, i would not support anybody changing their personality for someone else.
if he does not want you for what you are, i can assure you that there are thousands out there who are dying to meet some one like you. keep being yourself
