My husband's birthday is this weekend, I am so stumped as to what to get him! He's not into video games or electronics, he has pretty much everything he needs. I've gotten him clothes before, so I don't want to do that again, and he has tons of cologne...

Also, we just go married a few months ago, if that helps.

Some more info: he's in the mid-20's, is very outgoing, not into golf or football... does like basketball though. Also has a great watch that he really likes, so he doesn't need one of those...

Serious answers only please.

Men like power tools. Or maybe a new watch if he doesnt already have one...new cell phone? It just depends on what you husband likes and what kind of personallity he has

If he drinks you could buy him very expensive alcohol or beer. You could also cook him all of his favorite foods for his birthday. Is there anything from his childhood that he regrets losing or he has complained his parents threw away? If he likes sports you could get him tickets to a game. You could buy yourself something sexy you know he'll like and claim it as a gift for him. You could give him cheesy vouchers for doing the dishes, massages, and sexy stuff you wouldn't normally do. Does he golf? You could buy him a voucher for an expensive course. If you have a lot of money to drop, maybe a vacation? Or you could fly a friend or family member in for his birthday (sometimes last minute tickets can be cheap... sometimes they're not). Ok. I'm fresh out of ideas. Even the most complex men I know are still pretty simple, so women really do have it easier when it comes to gifts. The first response, however risque, was pretty great. Most men, gay and straight, enjoy oral sex. You could surprise him with that in the morning, along with a cake. You could also take him somewhere special, to the movies or to a sporting event he may enjoy. You could buy him something he collects and write him a sweet note.

I think you should play on his hobbies or occupation. If he's a carpenter, buy him a shiny new tool; if he's a businessman, buy him a new briefcase. Men like affection from their significant others just as much as women, so make sure to express how much he means to you on his special day.

All in all, his day will be fantastic if you treat him really well and show him extra amounts of affection -- both mentally and physically.

Think outside of the box. (birthday present box) If you just got married there are tons of romantic things you can do. Go somewhere that HE likes to go. Romantic dinner --with or without good friends. Some indulgence that you wouldn't normally do or get. The very best of something wonderful. The best steak, chocolate, wine, scotch, whatever he likes. End the night with candles, music and you.

Get yourself some sexy lingerie and give him a night to remember!!

Start with a home cooked meal, eaten by candle light, then give him a soft striptease. Invest in some cream or body paint and get artistic together.
When you are both ready, retire to the bedroom where he will find a big red bow around his bed with home made vouchers, made by you, allowing him to chose what he wants you to do.
Have a scarf or some handcuffs handy to really go to town!
Maybe get him a video camera so you can have fun and record the evenings event.

Trust me, it will be a gift he won't forget in a hurry!!

For my birthday my girlfriend got me a helicopter lesson. It was a tremendous experience and didn't cost that much.

Try thinking of an experience to give him rather than just a gift...

Congrats on marriage! My wife and I have been married for 20 years. I don't enjoy clothes or cologne---but You can put on a card--like a card that he can redeem something---Let your immagination go --offer a free back rub---a massege--a night of uninterupted S*X--- a night out with his freinds----you put on the card what ever you can think of that he may enjoy----one night at a football game , baseball or some other sport. And let him redeem it at any time........this might keep things interesting. Best of all have fun----your married now and married people are supposed to have fun too.

Start out by leaving little love/dirty notes and putting them everywhere you know he touches in the morning. That will make his day go by pretty good. Then plan for a romantic night just you and him and give him a coupon book. (the one's they sell at spencer's) he can then give you one whenever he feels he want's you to something for him. (These coupons are fun things to do!)
