ok a few facts regarding this first.
she is probably only 2-3 years younger than i,
i will not be over or in charge of her - so its not like im her boss
she will only be here for 2 or so months + or -
there is no kind of rules or regs against office relationships etc at my place of work.
ok so.....
i met her yesterday... the person that is her boss brought her into the office and introduced me as the "office........ guy" .. (mentally i was like thanks dick- i actually have more titles than you do) anyway i looked her dead in the eye and told her i prefered office extrodoinare (stupid i know but it made her laugh which is good) they checked out the office for a bit and headed out. as she was leaving she turned back looked me in the eye and said "it was really nice meeting you" which could have been good manners but it seemed a little over the top for the situaltion. i was like "you as well"
so anyway what are your opinions regarding this,
& if its cool how should i proceed

hmm, I just met someone at my practicum a few weeks ago and the same thing happened. we were polite, but maybe a little over the top and i think there was something extra going on. we shook hands, looked eachother directly in the eyes and chatted for a few minutes and when i had to go back to a different building, we were like "it was nice to meet you, (then he said my name)" and he wished me luck in my practicum blah blah blah. who knows though. if i'm not some kind of psycho i think we were pretty attracted to eachother

so if you feel that way, i think you probably are right. so see how things go.. i'd chat her up a bit and eventually ask her out for tea or something.

Any girl with good manners would do the same thing if crossing the path again with a person she just met.

Any girl who isn't a (hoe) probably wouldn't go out with you right now (only meeting once) unless there was a TON of chemistry (was there?).

She may only be there for a short time, but that time would seem really long if she shot you down when you asked.

Otherwise, go for it! lol.

I'm kidding. Might want to wait until maybe you've been around her more than 5 minutes, in case you want her to think that you think she is INTERESTING and NICE instead of hot.

Some hot girls have morals and guidelines, too, and won't want to go out with someobdy just because he thinks she's hot.

Never Fish in the Company Pool. Keep her name and number, and when she's left the building permanently...go for the relationship.

Just ask her if she would like to go on a date. If she is interested she will say yes, if she is not she will tell you. If she is negative about it, leave it at that or you will get in trouble for sexual harassment.

Well, you could try to get to know her a little bit more. Then ask her to lunch or something.

Don't make too much of it. Just be nice to her and see where it goes. Ladies usually don't want to be chased, just appreciated.
