I think the MOUNTAINS DONT keep the EARTH FROM SHAKING and the EARTH DOES SHAKE (quakes) thus NOTHING KEEPS THE EARTH FROM SHAKING!! >>

"He created the heavens without any pillars that ye can see; He set on the earth mountains standing firm, LEST IT SHOULD SHAKE WITH YOU" http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/031.qmt.html#031.010

I think this is the worst possible comparison any idiot could make OF THE EARTH >>

"He (Allah) Who has, made for you the EARTH LIKE A CARPET spread out" http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/020.qmt.html#020.053

BUT, my Islamic friend, I promise to join Islam if I should ever find the EARTH IN A MUDDY SPRING LIKE ZUL-QARNAIN DID >>

“(Zul-qarnain TRAVELLED till) when he reached the setting of the sun, he FOUND IT set IN A SPRING of murky water: NEAR IT (sun in spring) he found a People” http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/018.qmt.html#018.086

While the image is very interesting, one should note that what is seen in the photo is not a true color representation. According to the Hubble site, "This color picture, taken with the Wide Field Planetary Camera-2, is a composite of three images taken at different wavelengths. (red, hydrogen-alpha; blue, neutral oxygen, 6300 angstroms; green, ionized nitrogen, 6584 angstroms). The image was taken on September 18, 1994. NGC 6543 is 3,000 light-years away in the northern constellation Draco."

The web site for which you provided the link discusses exploding galaxies which has little to do with the Crab Nebula. There are other issues with the comments on the website, especially concerning the claim that one cannot see galaxies with the naked eye. This is not the case. Anyone can see the Andromeda Galaxy given a very dark sky. 1500 years ago, I would imagine that it was quite clear.
