Some conditioners are meant to be left in (leave-in conditioners.) I have some that can be rinsed out or left in for "maximum hair repair." If they recommend you rinse it out, it may be best. It depends on how your hair feels. If it feels greasy or something, it's probably not that great. But other than that, I don't think it could do any harm

No you should rinse it out completely. If you are out in the sun and the conditioner is still in your hair then the chemicals combined with sun rays will burn and damage your hair. It can also harm your hair in other ways. Besides it will make your hair stiff and greasy. Rinse it out, and if you want to leave it in then buy the conditioner that is made to be left in. Good Luck!!

Actually conditioner is designed to not wash completely out. You can rinse all you want, a small amount will stay in - it's designed that way. If you want to leave it in, you can buy special leave-in conditioners.

You should condition your hair every time after you shampoo your hair. You may rinse out completely or not, it's up to you and also it depends on the thickness/fullness of your hair and if it's dry, I suggest you rinse out perhaps half to 3-quarter of your hair. Then, your hair will look shiny, soft and definitely nice to touch. Good luck, I hope you find my answer useful. :)

you can leave a small amount in, I do because my hair is really fine and light and goes frizzy if I don't. don't leave a lot in, it shouldn't feel greasy, but if you keep rinsing it, you'll rinse away all the oils and creams that are supposed to help.
you could also get a spray-on conditioner, that works, too.

If you do not fully rinse out the conditioner it will make your hair very greasy.

as far as i can tell when i wash my hair the conditioner stays where ever it is needed most so when you rinse your hair and the conditioner wont come out in some places it's because thats where your hair needed it the most.

Unless it is a leave in conditioner, rinse it all out. It makes your hair feel nasty.

when I do that, even accidentally, it makes my hair and scalp greasy and itchy. It makes me feel like I need another bath. I do know that if you rinse conditioner with cold water it gives it a nice shine.

Better off to use a spray on leave in conditioner after you shower...leaving regular conditioner in there will only make your hair look oily or greasy!!
