What would be considered an "approrpiate" maximum age difference between a couple if the girl is 18?

until 28! I think ten years is good.
The older the man is the more experience and wisdome he has. And he will know how to treat her more, and appreciate her more. So yea.
But yes, if the female is mature.

Lets say she is a mature 18, then I'd say 10 years. But the issue is more with him. The older one is in a very different place in their life than she is. Ideally 3 - 5 years.

According to my extensive research while on internet dating sites, there are a number of formulas women seem to be using to decide the maximum age of the man they will consider dating:
Their age times 1.2. In your case, that's 22.5.
Their age plus 12, or in your case, 30
Their age minus seven, times two, giving 22
A lot of times they will round to the nearest 5 years using (perhaps unconsciously) one of the formula above. That would be 20 or 25 in your case.
As far as younger, most women still seem to prefer to make the lower age limit their age minus one. A few women reverse the 1.2 times rule above, which is the same as their age times 0.8. In your case, that would be illegally young.
So the most conservative answer for an 18 year old woman would be 17-22, and the most extreme answer would be jailbait-30.

about 5 years difference such as he should be no older than 23 or 24 if you are 18 years old.

i dont usually go more than four years over, it depends on how you feel about the person but as they say age doesn't matter. as long as your happy that is the main thing..like i say who cares what other people think...live life to the max...have fun your 18...your life is just begining!

i think that no older then 30 that's 12 years although my parents have 16 years between them and they have been happily married since 1970

i think there age is just a number. i wouldn't go past 20 if i was 18.
