noone can force religion on you, if they made a national religion, it would really just be that "most" people here are of the religion, doesnt mean you HAVE to follow it. I know us Christians are known for tying down non-believers and torturing them until they have fully converted. We are sooo evil. Man, gotta love us.

I disagree because I find your case to be biased & unreasonable. You plead your case by slandering those who care about traditional American values. Values that have been proved time and time again to be what is beneficial for all. Values like two-parent nuclear families, religious freedom (which is not freedom FROM religion but freedom TO PRACTICE religion), safety in our homes and neighborhoods, the ability to work and the allowance for instead of the exacerbation of differences.

This country has been overtaken by the radical minority fringe and the majority is getting tired of being walked on. For the last 20 or so years the majority has watched and allowed for (and at times agreed with) the expanding freedom afforded to those out on the fringe. We wrongfully believed that those on the fringe would be satisfied with the ground gained and that they in turn would agree to share in the adapted version of the status quo. Instead they have continued to push for expanded freedoms and extended special privileges that were never the constitutional framers' intentions.

It has now come to the point where we are in an age in which speaking out against the majority is not only validated, it is encouraged and almost demanded by those who have caved into the interests of these groups who claim to want equity when they really want special elevated treatment.

Meanwhile the majority, after giving in over the past 20 years, has finally seen the truth - that the fringe doesn't want to share this country - they want to take it over and run traditional values out as quickly as possible. That has not only galvanized the American people but it has set the stage for a fast approaching showdown between the fringe groups and the majority. And may God help us all.
