The bible says a lot of things I'll bet you don't follow.
The bible says it's okay to sell your daughter into slavery (Exodus 21:7).
The bible says (Lev. 25:44) that you may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations.
The bible says the punishment for working the Sabbath is death (Exodus 35:2).
The bible says cursing and blasphemous speech may be punished by stoning (Lev 24:10-16).
People cannot pick and choose which parts of the bible they follow. Some things in the bible are CLEARLY outdated and border on ridiculous, and no one takes these directives seriously. These are usually the same people who spout scripture about things they PERSONALLY don't agree with. The bible was written by MEN, not god.

Because your fundamentalist religion and everything else that makes you a freak is not a valid reason to stop gays from getting married if they want to. You have no authority over other peoples' private lives.

because the bible is not our constitution. and the constitution says that "all men are created equal" and that means all men have equal rights.

What bible are you reading? If the bible says it is wrong, please enlighten me as to where. Just because you think it is wrong doesn't mean the bible says it is wrong.
