I hate to hear those words ..
" will you be my girlfriend"
I think it's the cheesiest thing a guy can say. Why not just let things flow .. why put a label on your relationship as long as you both know what you want there's no reason to say "girlfriend/boyfriend"
If you both know you're committed to each other and no one else I think it should be left alone until you're ready for more of a commitment - like marriage or moving in together etc ... !

Isn't going on a date w/ a guy the same thing as being g/f and b/f? Yeah I'm pretty sure it is so just ask her out and take her on dates.

If it were me... I would probably want 4 or 5 dates before I got asked.... don't rush it.

i'd say 3 or so (if you knew her before you started going on dates... wait a few more dates if you just met) - rough number though. you have to make sure you know eachother well enough. good luck

If she shows the same interest as you show in her, just go for it. Or ask this, "What would you say if i asked you to be my gf?" Thats what i did with my bf.

my guess is two before you can ask her out cuz then she can see who you really are and realize tha she does like you alot. the first date do something romantic. and the second date do something fun. good luck.
