it varies by the individual and the ammount of THC in the system. A regular smoker will take a very long time to get rid of it all. Someone who had a little bit of second hand at a party will get rid of it in a very quick amount of time.
The vitamin suplement, Folic Acid as well as antioxidants such as red wine and orange juice seem to speed the process. The guys across the hall when I was a Freshman in college did extensive personal research on the subject and shared their findings with the community.
Folic acid will make you breakout in itchy red rashes all over your skin for about two hours total.

The physical effects of marijuanna last from anywhere from 1-72 hours depending on its potency and sensitivity of the individual.
It can produce seizures in individuals susceptable to them.
Long-term effects occur through prolonged and frequent use and take years to reverse. The most serious are impotence, low sperm count, memory problems, asthma, lung complications from tar, and weight gain from constant cases of the munchies.

It takes a month or so for MARIJUANA to fully metabolize out of your system enough that it is not detectible through a blood or urine test. However, it can still be detected through a hair sample.
Best course of action - just don't use any. It's illegal, you know.

it will be detected in a strand of hair for the rest of your life.
you can drink cranberry juice to flush it out of your body quicker than 7 weeks...but don't do it to the point that you get the runs and definetly dont do it if you're even mildly allergic to cranberries.

Too long. Stay away from that mess. It doesn't do anything but mess you up. It's not worth it, just leave it alone.
