Thiss is for the ladies. I'm a male who likes to cross dress from time to time, not in public but at home. Would this totally put a female off?

I once dated a chick who thought the idea a man wearing women's clothing was totally hot! Sadly, I'm not the cross-dressing type, so I was never able to entertain this fantasy of hers...
Moral of the story: there are women out there who will not just tolerate, but will enthusiastically support your fetish. They might even play dressup with you!
Perhaps you should seek one of these ladies out. Alternative personals websites and/or fetish clubs might be a good place to start.

If you cross dress then you can't say your completely straight can you ? it would put me off most definately ,it's not something i think many woman would find appealing ,don't get me wrong that's my personnal view and i could not go out with you if i knew ,but that does not mean i would not value you as a friend,i have gay and lesbian friends who are wonderful people it's just i don't see myself being able to get past the fact that i would always wonder what you are doing when i'm not around

It depends on the female. There are plenty of accepting females out there that would be okay with your cross dressing.
Although I could not see myself dating a guy that was straight but cross dressed at home, I know there are girls out there that would be perfectly fine with it.
I'm sure you will be getting plenty of mean and ignorant responses on Yahoo!Answers from people so please don't let that discourage you.
The right female is out there that will in fact accept who you are. Don't change yourself for anyone.

If you're open and honest about it, it would be much better than walking in and finding you wearing pink panties.
However, I do have to wonder if you are not just in denial about a much deeper issue. I'm sure there are men out there that do like wearing female clothing that are completely straight, but taking a step back and addressing everything might be wise before getting into a relationship.

I'm not into cross dressing but one time i put on my girlfriends nightgown and when she saw me she laughed so hard she cried (which was the reaction I was going for).
after that she tried to dress me up in other things of hers but I refused. maybe that's a way to start it for you and her.

If you are not up front and open with her and she finds out on her own...YES. Unless she likes that sort of thing. It's something you have to take up with your partner.
