No, no, no!! Where on earth did you get that MOSES was ordered to kill babies? And animal sacrifices were God's right as Grand Creator to ask for. He didn't ask for HUMAN sacrifices! If your question stems from the account where Moses warned the Pharoah of the consequences of not letting the Israelites go in the book of Exodus? God gave warning that all first-borns would be destroyed...warning being the key word here. God has NEVER not given mankind a chance to do the right thing! The Pharoah could have let the Israelites go when God told Moses to tell him to the FIRST time, and all would have been OK. The same with the situation where Moses was ordered by God to slay all the idolatrous revelers who were engaging in false worship while Moses was receiving the Laws from God in chapter 32 of Exodus. God had given the Israelites chance after chance to serve Him the correct way, and the ones who chose not to were put to death...our same choices today. Live for God and live forever, or live for yourself and when you die, stay dead forever.

You are provided with completely wrong information. I cannot understand where did you get this information from.
God did not order Moses to kill babies it is a completely different story. Let me clear that to you.
Pharoah's astrolegers predicted that a male baby from among Pharoah's slaves would kill Him. Then Pharoah ordered to kill every male baby. It was not God who ordered to Moses, on the contrary even moses was a small baby at that time, fearing that her baby would be killed Moses' mother put him in a basket and let him in a river. That basket was recieved by Pahroah's widowed daughter who believed Moses as a gift of God and took her. She raised her as her own baby in Pahroah's house itself but later on Moses being a prophet was revealed to Pahroah and then it continued to Pharoah's death as predicted.
Once again I say your information was completely wrong.

Animals were sacrifices, God did not murder babies, God is not the mastermind murderer, we sin, we had to sacrifice, to deplete our sins in that day, we sin because of Adam and Eve, and continue to do it until we face our creator, Jesus Christ was the last and final sacrifice, so that we can ask for forgiveness for our sins through him, God loves all people and wants people to be happy and have joy and love, God created this world, but satan created sin, and you have to make a choice. God does not create the terrible things that happen our sins do. We must take responsibility and not blame others.

You're a little confused. Moses was ordered to slaughter sheep (or maybe goats??) and mark the homes of the Hebrew families with blood (yuck) so that the angel of the lord would skip their houses when they went through and slaughtered all the first born sons.
But I agree with you. He's a little too twisted a diety for my tastes.

Numbers 31:12-24--while the victors made their some time past to the encampments of Israel, they got here across no longer compliment yet anger. have you ever stored each of the girls alive: they key moses' anger is the sinfulness of the girls. those women had brought about Israel to sin, as they were recommended by ability of Balaam, Balaam were slain, alongside with the kings of notables of the folk (verse 8). Now the girls and their make toddlers had to be killed to boot. basically the extra youthful females who have been nevertheless virgins have been to be stored alive, for basically they have been provably harmless of the sexual sins of their mothers. with the aid of fact that this became a holy conflict, the warriors and their possessions had to bypass with the aid of surprising purification rites. This purification demanded the two cleansing hearth and water. it is why that is substantial to be responsive to the history of each verse. in case you're taking it for face fee (such as you probably did) you wont get it.

If, in the pursuit of actual FACTS, you still don't want to read the bible to know what the story was, AT LEAST RENT "The Ten Commandments" with Charlton Heston, duh!
This question is the most idiotic twisting of a widely known classic story.

it was the Egyptians that killed the first born. That is why Moses was found amoungest the brambles set free by his mother so he would escape death. Read the Bible and understand the true meanings.

ROFL! do YOU even know what you are talking about?
your ignorance of the Bible is showing dude! LOL!
could it be that you are talking about God asking ABRAHAM to sacrifice his son? he did that because Abraham loved his son, but his willingness to do that proved that he loved God more.. however God stopped Abraham from doing that. he didn't kill his son. God required a sacrifice (for one's sins) and they used animals (animals that they used for food) so in essence they were saying that they loved God more than eating when they were hungry.

oh man the old testament....and in particular numbers, is full of this kind of thing. 10,000 women (who have not known the bed of man) at each city that god knocks the walls down on, get sacrificed in that chapter. well if all the versions of the bible have taught us anything, it that you can pick and choose which parts of the bible you want.
