It's not just about a marriage ceremony and if it should be Muslim or Catholic, it's also how you are going to have religion play a part in your home together and how you will raise your children. These things you should definitely talk about beforehand. Usually the one who has more religious conviction, has the say so. But if neither of you are big into your religions, try something like being a Unitarian to compromise.
If I were you, I would have a neutral ceremony (not in a church) with an open-minded minister that could include parts of both religions into the service.

It will probably depend a lot on where you want to get married. If you want to get married in a Catholic church, you can pretty much bet on having a Catholic wedding. If you choose a neutral place or event center, you could mix the two cultures together for a BEAUTIFUL wedding! I think that would be wonderful, but do what you BOTH want. It's YOUR wedding!

Maybe you should try doing a non-denominational ceremony in a really cool church or other venue. I understand that you want a catholic wedding but maybe the way to please everyone is to do non-denominational and include aspects of both religions in the wedding ceremony.

Are either of you willing to convert? How will the children be raised? You have more issues to deal with than just which church / mosque to be married in.

Well, you can really only do one of two things, then: 1. get him to convert, or 2. get married someplace other than a church.

How about under a Pavilion with an Ordained Minister. Then everyone is happy.
Good luck!
