dry whites like a sauvignon blanc, or fruity reds like a pinot noir or a merlot. Reds go well with rich meals, white wine for lighter meals, or just plain drinking. Whites also for a week night, that way your teeth aren't stained for everyone to know what you did last night!

I love a good Cab. California has some of the best wines, both red and white. Ever try a red from Napa Valley or the Central Coast?

I used to only like blush, and then merlot. Now I actually try to have the wine appropriate for the food that I am eating:
You know...
white for fish or chicken, red for steak

However if we are just talking a glass of wine, with maybe some cheese and crackers - then red (Merlot).

For me....I like both. It depends on the situation, if there is food and what kind. If the occasion has some type of meat (mostly red) then I like red wine. For social occasions ONLY or occasions with hors d'oeuvres or poultry as the main course I like white.

Red wine with beef or pork - White wine with fish or poultry. MD 2020 if you just want to get blasted. Orange Jubilee was my fave back in the day.
