I mean can such a man aspire to that level of responsbility or not since he is a man of two wives.

I think it says in the Timothy (one or two I can't remember) or Titus (or both) that a church elder must be a husband of one wife. So no, if he has two wives, not only is he not able to meet the requirement of being a pastor, he's also in violation of his faith by being polygamous....I'm assuming this man claims to be Christian. He needs to be separated from his wife (his second I think, since he's legally married to the first)

If he can stay within the culture that allowed two wives-it would be debatable. For it would be wrong to send away a wife for no reason.
If he moves to a place where it is unlawful to have two wives-then he could not, and divorcing one would not help.
I assume he desires to preach christianity. If not, then it doesn't matter anyway-he must abide by the law of the land.

until just a few hundred days ago, men were allowed the luxury of more than one wife, except in Mormonism. that one religion preaches multiple lives by some practitioners still. there may even other cultures which allow it also, but who cares, I don't.

Why would relationships of earth living change and/or affect our spiritual lessons? Except perhaps to give them a playing field to outplay all the lessons necessary for spiritual growth?
