All things in dating are generalities, so take any advice from anybody with at least a tiny grain of salt. That said, 90% of the time...
Most women who are really interested in a guy will actually make it easy for him. If she's hungry for a particular guy, she won't be able to help herself. Consequently, when a woman plays "hard to get" it's usually for one of two reasons:
1. She's not interested, but likes to string guys along
2. She's hasn't decided if she's interested or not yet, and is waiting to see if you find a way to catch her interest. That is, she's "kind of" interested.
So, what to do...turn the tables on her! It's now time for YOU to play hard to get. Make her chase you. If she's really interested, she will chase you in some way. If she's only "kind of" interested, she'll become curious as to why you're playing it cool. Either way, it works well for you...

This happens with most men and women. We all love the 'thrill of the chase" and we love attention. If we can get the opposite sex attracted to us, and keep them coming back for more, we feel the need to play hard to get so the other person will keep trying. Of course, not everyone is like this, but most are, even if they don't admit it.

women play hard to get on dates because they want to be respected and the whole point of dating is to get to know each other and take as much time as possible to know if your someone worth getting to know if you wanted something easy say that be honest when it comes to dating and if you get turned down then change your agenda when it comes to females period

I've heard this from several of my husbands friends...men like the thrill of the chase. They like a challenge and when women are playing hard to get, that's what they are, a challenge. So see? It's your fault! LOL

"Some" women "play" hard to get because they know that by doing so creates mystery and also passively demanding respect .The purpose for dating= is to find a compatible life partner,,,,,,,for life...... not....... for right now.

the theory is:
you want what you can't have, well, hard to get it that in practice.
If a man thinks he can't have you then he will want you more.
Some women grow out of it, others don't . It's stupid, but so is a lot of stuff guys do.

If we are too easy, then the man takes advantage of it. If we make him wait, he appreciates us more and is more respectful. I have tons of friends, that give it up so easy and the guy usually sticks around about two weeks.
Want a relationship actually turn into a relationship, we have to make men wait.

"why women play hard to get"? because thats what its all about! If they were easy as we wish, then we wouldnt be attracted to them anymore (god forbit, with no insult)
