Does anyone else find it just a bit too coincidental that the only person Moses took with him up the mountain to recieve the ten commandments, was a STONE CUTTER?

It is clear you are trying to say Joshua could have helped Moses carved those stones, like i normally say, you are entitled to what you think, but i do know the bible says the writings on those stones, were written with the finger of God. Exodus.31:18

"And when He had made an end of speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God."

Are you referring to the fact that the ten commandments are excellent moral principles to live by or to the fact that God gave them to Moses?

The ten commandments are excellent principles to live by. No stealing, no murder, no envy (covet), honor your parents. I have no problem with any of those.

Did God give to Moses, of course he did. That is an act of faith. Something you either have or your don't.

Moses went alone. But does it matter? It's a good code of conduct.

I believe God was capable enough...or Moses had this ability. Could it be why he was up the mountain for forty days.

Hmmmmm....
