Have you every walked in the woods anywhere in the south during the day. Mosquitoes are everywhere looking for food. They my be more previlent at night because of the temperature change. If they in a certian place during the day it is probably on some body of water, lake, puddle ect.

Mosquitoes are out during the day too but not as many. The mosquitoes that bite are female and they bring the blood to their babies so if you kill it you are killing a whole lot of them by killing one! If you want to avoid being bitten, don't eat meat and pepper before going outside. If you will be camping, avoid meat and pepper for 24 hours before going camping. Avoid perfumes, colognes, strong smelling deodorants, antipersperants. They attract them. Good Luck.
