You're just going to have to wait until it comes out the other end.
If swallowing the ring is causing problems for your dog, though, it's time to go see the vet, who may have to surgically remove it.

If it included a diamond of any size I would at least for now feed the dog some bread. then you can either wait, assist by use of a doggie laxative or take your doggie to a vet. For now though emergency care may need to be initiated.

Dear MDSMWR:
Start with lotz of fiber... Follow the dumb *** dog around for two hours, and then act like you are no longer watching "it", after this time he will proceed to handle his business. Bam, your ring will reappear just like magic all you have to do is sift through the poo. However, the question is; who lets their dog suck the ring right off their finger? Or what husband lets a wife remove her wedding ring, and then lets the dog swallow it? Come on now, please lets get it together!

This too will come to pass. Just be in the yard ready to scoop up everything your doggy passes for the next couple of days! It's a sh*tty job, but someone has to do it.

Get a childrens laxative, then give it some time, USE GLOVES, and keep up with doggie's bowel movement, hopefully you can get to it, and then steralize the heck out of it... Take it to your jewler afterwards, dont give the full story, ask them to reclean and check diamonds, etc.

Unfortunately you will have to wait til your dog "passes" the ring. May I suggest some latex gloves and some tweezers!! Good Luck!

Try a light laxative such as castor oil, and dig into his feces. It´s not nice at all, but it´s the best way to keep both your dog and ring, if that doesn´t work, it´s time for surgery.
Poor puppy!!!
Good luck!

follow your dog around with a stick and check every bowel movement. This may take a few days so be patient. And dont miss any of these lovely droppings.
Good Luck and happy digging!!!
