I own a 2001 Honda Civic LX Coupe- I recently bought a Rockford Fosgate amp to hook up to my 2 10 inch subs. Problem- how can i get to the firewall to hook it up? Are there any grommets and i can punch through for it?

There is probably a hole in the firewall behind the glove compartment. Poke a hole in the grommet and feed it through.

If your car is an automatic, there should be a knockout where the clutch cable would go. If your vehicle is a manual transmission, you will need to find a space where you can safely drill your own hole. The only other option is to check where your factory wires go through the firewall and VERY CAREFULLY make an incision into the factory rubber grommet and run your power wire through it. Be sure to seal the hole you make to prevent water from getting into the vehicle. The factory wiring harness should be located under the driver's side bolster panel in the area above the kick panel.

There is a hole near the steering column with a grommet already in place. At least my '97 Honda Civic EX Coupe has one...

I designed a 4th-order band-pass bass box for my car, it may fit yours, but it's for 12's. You can have the plans if you want them, just e-mail me.
